Background

You'll meet Egg Head inside the blue tent in Martinaise West (#1). He'll spout "hard core" or some other nonsense every time you say something to him, but after getting nowhere once, you'll decide that there must be a pattern to his responses, which will trigger this task.


Walkthrough

To solve the puzzle, you'll need to talk to Egg Head twice. During your first conversation, you should say nothing five times, and then say, "No, but seriously... I'm a little worried it isn't." After that, you can say whatever you want. During your second conversation, you should once again say nothing five times, but this time follow it up with:

• So hard core!
• It is!
• The question is, what is the question?!

This will complete the task and earn you 10 xp -- and, more importantly, cause Egg Head to start talking normally.
