Background

When you talk to Klaasje for the first time in front of her room in the Whirling-in-Rags (#1), she'll discard a cigarette into a nearby ashtray. With enough Electrochemistry, you'll ponder picking it up and smoking it, but then decide against it. This inner monologue will trigger the task. You can also trigger the task by completing it.


Walkthrough

You'll find Smokes "Astra" in a few places in the game, including for sale at Frittte (#2). The first time you equip cigarettes, a thought orb should appear over your head, allowing you to smoke one. If you decline, then you'll need to smoke the cigarettes normally, which means you'll need to equip one and press the relevant "action" button in the lower right-hand corner of the interface (beneath the current time). Smoking a cigarette will complete the task and earn you 30 xp.
