Walkthrough

After completing the tasks Extract a Confession from the Deserter and Extract a Motive, you'll be given a chance to ask the deserter (#1) about other things he's done. When you bring up Evrart Claire and the Dockworkers' Union, the deserter will start talking about Evrart's brother Edgar, and he'll declare that he's "not doing anything for that swine again." If you ask him to elaborate, and if you pass a "legendary" Logic check, then he'll bring up Tiphaine Holly, the previous union boss -- and he'll reveal that she was shot and killed by a sniper, although he'll get cagey and not admit to committing the crime himself. This will complete the task and earn you 30 xp.
