Luskan: Sewers

Sewers
1 – EXIT TO SURFACE

These two exits will get you back to the surface and the town of Luskan.


2 – LEVER OF WIND

Inside the chest in this area you will find the Lever of Wind which is actually a part of the machine Colmarr told you about at his shop up to the town area. You will also find some treasures possibly a random magical item but first you will have to fight several ghouls led by a ghoul Ravager and a Ghoul Lord.

Also some skeleton remains nearby contain an Amulet of Power and a magic Rod (Rod of the Ghost). The Amulet of Power is needed at area #3 so keep in with you.


3 – GHOUL OUTCAST

A ghoul in this room with try to talk with you before you attack him. If you decide to talk with him he will let you know that in an effort to become Liches and help the High Captains, he and his brother became ghouls in the process. When this happened his former brother stole an amulet from him and now he needs it back. The amulet can be found at area #2 on some skeleton remains. If you bring back the amulet, the ghoul outcast will give you the Sewer Control key and the Lever of Water, another part of the Contraplulator. You will also gain 150 experience points.


4 – LOCKED DOOR

In order to unlock the door here you will need the Sewer Control key from the ghoul outcast at area #2. The key will give you access to the Contraplulator where you can fix it and use it to make potions.


5 – CONTRAPLULATOR

The room is guarded by several stag beetles and a Greater Stink Beetle. The Contraplulator is also located here but as you will soon find out it is missing three levers before it can be operational.

Here are the locations of the three missing levers:
  • Lever of Wind: Found on some skeletons remains at area #2
  • Lever of Water: Given to you from the Ghoul Outcast at area #3
  • Lever of Stone: Found in a trapped chest in one of the rooms at the first floor of the Wink and Tickle brothel

When you fix all the levers you can then create almost any potions found in the game with the right combination and after pulling the activation switch.

6 – BACK ENTRANCE TO BARAM'S BASE

If you have the Baram's Base key given to you from Rhaine or Oreth located at the Wink and Tickle you can unlock the gate here and gain entrance to Baram's Base from a different route.


7 – EXIT TO BARAM'S SEWER

After unlocking the gate at area #6 you can now access Baram's Sewers and eventually Baram's Lair from a sneakier route.


8 – VAULT ROOM

Before you can gain access to this room, you must have the Vault key given to you from Londa at the Cutlass Inn. (See The Cutlass area Walkthrough)

After helping her she will give you the key you need to unlock the door and enter her husband's vault. Inside the vault you will find several chests that are full of treasures, some minor items and a few magical ones.
