Peninsula District
1 - ENTRANCE FROM CITY CORE

Talk to the Gate Captain, Kipp, and he will tell you of the prison break and the rumour that Captain Alaefin, the Head Gaoler set the prisoners free. Apparently something is wrong with the Head Gaoler and you must investigate this further.


2 - MS. DULCIMAE

She is surrounded by escaped prisoners, a maid for Lady Tanglebrook will tell you about the tunnels from the Tanglebrook estate into the prison, they key to the estate is hidden under the door mat. Take them out and escort her back to the gate guards.

You will be rewarded with 62 exp and 3 alignment points towards good.


3 - MILITIA HQ/MIZZENMAST MERCANTILE

Just before the HQ and Mercantile there is a door that leads into a building that is being guarded by a man called Jones. Once inside, go down the stairs and talk to Briley. If you have accepted the quest from Oleff, give him the note. He will then tell you everything he knows and unlock the chest for you. Take the Dig Logbook, Ceremonial Arrow, Shield, and Sword. These ceremonial items are needed to unlock the Never Tombs around the various districts of Neverwinter and retrieve the ancient items of Halueth Never.

There isn't much to note at Mezzenmast's other than his maps of all the Neverwinter districts. Buy these and your map will show the entire area without having explored them first.

Additionally, inside the Militia Headquarters you will meet up with Sedos Sebile. Sebile is in charge of the Militia guards here at the peninsula District. Have a word with her and she will give you much information about the prison break as well as ask for your help on the matter. Ashe needs someone to sneak into the prison and find out what is happening there. However you cannot enter the prison from the front door since the key is now in the hands of the prisoners so you will have to find an alternative way into or retrieve the key. According to her sayings best place to look for the key are the sewers below this area. She will also offer a reward to anyone that can resolve the prison break issue.

Once you find and defeat Head Gaoler inside the prison return here and speak with Sedos again. As for your reward see below:

  • Normal: You will gain 300 gold pieces
  • Persuade: you will be rewarded with 300gold pieces plus another 75 gold pieces with a successful persuasion check.

  • Threaten: You will earn 300 gold pieces and 3 alignment points towards evil.

  • Accept no reward: No gold but 3 alignment points towards good.


4 - MASTER JOHNS

You will run into Lady Tanglebrook's butler here, who will inform you of the secret tunnels that lead from her estate into the prison. The key to the estate is hidden under the doormat. You can also escort this person back to the city gates for another 62 exp and 3 alignment points towards good.


5 - SEWER ACCESS

Several escaped prisoners guard these entrances as well as the Gang Leader. This is one of the ways to access the prison. Going down into the sewers you will face another Gang Leader, this one hold a key to the prison, which will let you in the front door.


6 - PRISON GATES

This is the main entrance to the prison levels. However these doors will be locked unless you get they key from the sewers in area #5.


7 - TANGLEBROOK ESTATE

Inside Tanglebrook estate there is a secret tunnel that leads to the prison. However the door is locked but after taking a closer look you will find the key under the welcome mat near the door.


8 - WIZARD LAB

One of the Wizard Labs around the Neverwinter City is located in this district here. You can only enter it if you have Eltoora’s key. Once inside defeat the Earth Mephit and take the rare earth clay from the pile of stones there.


9 - PLAGUE-VICTIM PYRE

Several pyres like this one will be found around the city. Keep a torch with you and every time you find one torch it to prevent the plague from spreading. For that you will be rewarded with 25 experience points.
