1 - Arrival
Once the assault begins, Captain Kirrahe radios you and asks that you keep an eye out for opportunities to sabotage the Geth defenses so that his teams have a better chance of surviving the attack. This triggers a new assignment called "Virmire: Assisting Kirrahe's Team".
2 - Communications Tower
As you approach this communications tower, a Geth Shock Trooper and Geth Trooper will open fire on you while a Geth Sniper and Geth Shock Trooper shoot from the tower's platform. There's also a Geth Destroyer up there, so be careful.
When all the Geth have been taken out, loot the weapon locker on the platform and disrupt Geth communications using the nearby triangulation tower console. That should help Kirrahe and his men.
3 - Geth Resistance
Two Geth Troopers patrol this route.
4 - Geth Resistance
A Geth Trooper and two Geth Assault Drones guard this pathway.
5 - Geth Resistance
A single Geth Rocket Drone awaits you here.
6 - Satellite Uplink Tower
Take out the Geth Shock Trooper and Krogan Warrior guarding this tower, then use the aid station and destroy the satellite uplink to slow the Geth down even more. You'll also gain a couple of Paragon points.
7 - Krogan Warriors
Kill the two Krogan Warriors stationed on this platform and grab the valuables in the crate before moving on.
8 - Upgrade Kit
Snatch the items from the upgade kit lying at the back of this cave.
9 - Geth Resistance
The Geth Destroyer and Geth Rocket Trooper located on this platfom will make your job a little tougher.
10 - Refueling Platform
You'll most likely have a Geth Destroyer and a Geth Rocket Trooper pestering you on your way here, so make sure they're dead before reaching the refueling platform. Here, you'll be facing three Geth Assault Drones and two Geth Rocket Drones. Blast them out of the sky for several Paragon points and another step completed for the "Virmire: Assisting Kirrahe's Team" assignment.
11 - Geth Resistance
Your final approach on the research facility will pit you against two Geth Snipers and two Krogan Warriors. When they're dead, there's a crate to be looted on the south side of this platform and a storage locker on the north end.
