Nodacrux is located in the Vostok system of the Maroon Sea cluster. Even if you don't have the "Investigate Facility" assignment obtained from an ExoGeni terminal on Feros, the "UNC: ExoGeni Facility" assignment will trigger from a distress call received while landing on the planet. If you did have the original assignment, then it just changes names.
1 - Arrival
Joker will drop you off in this particular area of the hazard-free planet.
2 - Ancient Debris
Your recovery efforts here will be rewarded with a batch of files revealing the Thracia Colony insignia. This is one of thirteen needed for the "UNC: Turian Insignias" assignment.
3 - Crashed Probe
Some more upgrades can be salvaged from the wreckage of this probe.
4 - Science Facility
Thorian Creepers here on Nodacrux? Hmm. Kill these four and then move inside to begin your investigation. Several more Thorian Creepers will confront you in the facility's main chamber, after which you'll run into the ExoGeni science team in one of the back rooms.
The head of the facility, Doctor Ross, explains that they brought the Thorian Creepers from Feros and were attempting to make them obedient here on Nodacrux. They suddenly went berserk, though, and now Ross and a few others are all that are left. They're the ones that triggered the distress call that you received during your approach.
Ross then goes on to ask that you don't report this to the authorities and even offers you her "emergency fund" if you keep quiet. You can either take it, attempt to arrest them, or attack them. Either of the last two options results in a battle, though you'll gain several Paragon or Renegade points depending on which you choose.
When Ross and her would-be mercenaries are dead, search the facility for nine containers: an upgrade kit, a technician kit, a wetware kit, a locked crate, a sludge canister, a malfunctioning object, two storage lockers, and an aid station.
5 - Cobalt Deposit
Survey this hard-to-reach Cobalt deposit to get one step closer to finishing the "Light Metals" section of the "UNC: Valuable Minerals" assignment and to earn a reasonable amount of experience and credits.
6 - Gold Deposit
Survey this Gold deposit to get one step closer to finishing the "Heavy Metals" section of the "UNC: Valuable Minerals" assignment and to earn a reasonable amount of experience and credits.
7 - Thorian Creepers
Eight more Thorian Creepers can be found nestled within Nodacrux's annoying landscape. Eliminate them, then search the hardened crate and two locked crates inside the nearby building for some loot.
