Notable Loot

Annotations

1 - Your House

Inside your house you'll find some chests and cabinets containing a Simple Key (which will unlock one of the chests), Your Journal (which will explain why you're Level 1), some potions, a weapon / spell suitable for you, and a Water Skin.

Outside your house, you'll discover a well in the back yard. Clicking on the well will satisfy your thirst and fill up the Water Skin. Then when you leave your house via the front door, you'll find a Strange Note in a bag. Reading the note will trigger the main quest The Mysterious Note.

2 - Anwick's House

You'll find Anwick hiding in his house. When you talk to him, you'll learn that Crimson Dragonels have been plaguing him (and his sheep), and you'll trigger the side quest A Den of Dragonels.

3 - Gammen's House

Inside this house you'll meet Constable Gammen, the leader of Eastwillow. If you kill him, then you'll earn 100 xp and 80 gp. You'll also find a couple of random containers plus a Jewel-Encrusted Ornamental Sword (hanging on the wall) inside the house. Gammen and the sword are involved in the quest Repossession.

Note: It's easier to enter Gammen's house through the unlocked back door rather than the locked front door.

4 - Keebo's Smithing

Inside this shop you'll meet Keebo, who will sell you a basic assortment of weapons and armor, and also give you the side quest Repossession.

5 - Town Sign

Clicking on this sign will add Eastwillow to your Quick Travel menu.

6 - Eastwillow Magicks

Eleanise the shopkeeper will sell you magical equipment, including jewelry, spells, potions, and ingredients. In the back of the shop you'll find an illusory wall leading to a random locked chest, but in order to get to the chest, you'll have to kill Eleanise, which isn't a good idea, at least early in the game.

7 - The Wayfarer's Jolly

Inside this inn you'll meet Jarvik the owner. He'll sell you a variety of items, including food and Lock Picks. He'll never rent you a room, though. During the quest The Mysterious Note, you'll also run into Darus in the back room of the inn. He'll die during your conversation with him, and he'll drop a Soulpiercer arrow (which will trigger the side quest To Hunt an Assassin) and a Strange Viewing Glass (which will trigger the main quest Destiny Through a Viewing Glass).

8 - The Virtuous Covenant of Mosan

Inside this temple you'll meet the judgmental Father Tyrus. For the right price he'll heal you or remove a curse, and he'll also give you the side quest A Missing Disciple.

9 - Powder Keg

Powder Kegs can be picked up in Book II, and will deal 80-150 damage to their immediate surroundings when hit by 5 points or more of damage. We'd recommend saving them for special situations, like the shrine at Cape Sorrow and the side quest A Den of Dragonels.

10 - Barrel

Inside this barrel you'll find a pair of Blood-Stained Boots. They're a provocative piece of equipment (and possibly were meant to be a part of Wendy's quest), but they're not involved in anything.

11 - Wendy's Apartment

Wendy will give you the side quest A Favor for Wendy.

12 - Unoccupied Apartment

Inside this apartment you'll find a cabinet containing a Small Ruby and a random amount of gp.

13 - Eastwillow Management

You'll meet Brelinda, Constable Gammen's assistant, inside this building. If you click on the cabinet farthest from the door, then you'll discover a lever, and if you pull it, then you'll open a vault. Inside the vault you'll find the Eastwillow Town Ledger. Brelinda and the ledger are both involved in the quest Repossession.

$ - Treasure Chest
