Overview
The Silver Peak Mine is located in the northwestern part of the Mojave Wasteland, along the road to
Jacobstown. The location consists of the mine itself (shown above) plus a small shack leading to it (not shown).
Inside the shack you'll find three ammunition boxes, a copy of
Tumblers Today (in a locker), a
Varmint Rifle (in a shelf), and a
Sunset Sarsaparilla Star Bottle Cap (on one of the tables). Inside the mine you'll find lots of explosives (#1 and #3) plus a
Remnants Power Helmet (#3), but you'll have to deal with groups of cazadors, including the legendary cazador. Be sure to have some
Antivenom on hand before squaring off against the cazadors, or you'll probably end up wasting a whole lot of
Stimpaks counteracting their poison.
1 - Abandoned Mine Cart
Next to the mine cart here you'll find two explosives crates containing
C-4 Plastic Explosives,
Frag Grenades, and more.
2 - Trigger Point
When you reach this point on the upper ridge (#2), the legendary cazador will appear down below (#2a). The legendary cazador is a tougher version of the regular cazador, but it won't drop anything interesting (other than cazador parts) when it dies.
3 - Storage Alcove
In front of the alcove you'll find two explosives crates, and inside the alcove you'll find two doses of
Hydra (on some crates), two sets of
Brass Knuckles (near the crates), and a
Remnants Power Helmet (on the ground next to the skeleton).
Exits:
