Overview
If you don't have the Wild Wasteland trait, then you'll find giant rats in this cave. Otherwise, you'll find (much tougher) rodents of unusual size, which are a reference to
The Princess Bride.
Near the entrance to the cave, you'll discover a hollowed out rock with the words "the sun is killing me" painted on it. Inside you'll find some minor loot.
1 - Trash
You'll find some trash on the ground here, including a copy of
Salesman Weekly.
2 - Jane's Brahmin
Jane's brahmin will only appear here if you learn about it during the quest
Debt Collector prior to entering the cave for the first time. If the brahmin appears, then you'll find 276 caps on it.
3 - Camp
Inside the camp, you'll find two first aid boxes, an ammunition box,
Ratslayer (on the ground by the desk), a
Radiation Suit (on a crate by the desk), two copies of
Programmer's Digest (one on the desk and the other on a table), a copy of
Today's Physician (on the desk), and more.
4 - Skeleton
At this spot (near a pile of waste barrels), you'll find a skeleton with an ammunition box, a
.357 Magnum Revolver, a
Knife, and a copy of
Lad's Life next to it on the ground.
