AR3000 (East of Larswood)

Did we miss anything in this location? Is there something we didn't discover? Let us know!

This area is located just East of the Larswood forest and is rather inhabited. There is an unusually large number of spiders and ettercaps in the region, however, so watch out. There is nothing of great importance here, so it may be avoided if you wish.

1- DENAK, DIANA, BRENDAN AND LASLA:

Four Red Wizards of Thay who are obviously up to no good. They will attack you no matter what, so be ready to defend yourself. Summoning some monsters prior to the fight is a good thing since they can absorb the nasty Magic Missiles and Melf's Acid Arrows cast by the mages. They also cast Mirrored Image and Armor, so watch out. All in all, they are worth 2400 Exp. and they have some loot: Mage Robe of Electrical Resistance, Mage Robe of Fire Resistance, 2 Mage Robes of Cold Resistance, Ring of Energy(2D6 damage, no save), 2 Potions of Healing, 345 gp. and a few scrolls: Blindness, Agannazar's Scorcher, Burning Hands, Armor, Grease and Protection from Petrification.

Note: If Edwin is in your party, the mages won't attack you since he's one of them.

2- FAHRINGTON:

A traveler who promises to brighten your karma if you retrieve a scroll stolen from him by a tasloi and which is now in the possession of an ettercap at location (3). When you return him the scroll, you get 300 Exp. and he lets you keep it. I think that the scroll is random but it is usually cursed, so you should throw it away.

3- ETTERCAP:

The one who has Fahrington's scroll. There are some monsters not far from it, so watch out.

4- SPIDERS:

Wraith Spider, Phase Spider, Sword Spider and 4 Giant Spiders. They can put up quite a fight, especially if you are not careful with the traps around. I recommend taking them down one at the time using missile weapons. You get a good deal of experience from this fight, so you should do it.
