With the Music Box purchased, you and your sister will dash off to the secluded area where you first began the game. When the box is activated, it disappears and the two of you will retreat to your less-than-luxurious home in disappointment. You'll notice that you now have a canine friend just before retiring to your bed for the evening.

Surprisingly, you're awoken by some Castle Fairfax guards during the night. Lord Lucien has asked that you and your sister be brought to the castle - did your wish really come true? When you arrive, you'll meet the butler Jeeves, who gives you a brief introduction to Lucien before leading you to his study.

What happens next is a bit startling. After quizzing you about the magic box you acquired, Lucien asks that you step inside the circle near the window in his study. The circle will become surrounded by a blue forcefield, which then turns to red when Lucien attempts to reach inside of it. Realizing that you both possess the blood of Heroes, he hastily scans his desk and determines that you're "not any of the three." "One of you is the fourth," he claims, right before pulling out a pistol and shooting your sister on the spot. He then points the barrel at you, blasting you through the castle's window and down onto the street below.

10 years later, Albion will witness The Birth of a Hero.
