Temple Summit
Unknown World - Temple Summit

Did we miss anything on this map? Is there something we didn't discover? Let us know!

1 - Exit

Exit to Temple Main Floor (#16). Your goal is to reach the computer at area #4 to shut down the planetary disruptor field and temple energy shield, but you'll have one major encounter blocking your way.

2 - The Moment of Truth

This is where you alone decide the fate of the entire galaxy, and the choices you make during the following conversation will determine the ending of the game. Standing in the archway is Bastila Shan, waiting for you. The moment you get near, she'll approach your party and begin dialogue. There are multiple opportunities for (LS Points) and (DS Points) during the dialogue with her, and by now I expect you know which is which. If you try and save her from the Dark Side, you'll get the Light Side points, and if you attempt to reclaim your title as Dark Lord, you'll of course get major Dark Side points.

After the first part of the conversation is over, she'll challenge your party to a battle and likes using Horror and Force Lightning. You can use Force Resistance of your own to minimize any damage she causes. It's not a particularly tough battle but be careful. When she's less than half way down on vitality, she'll force wave your party and you'll all be thrown back. Thus begins round two, and this is where you make the choice that affects the rest of the game, and the future of the galaxy.

  • So you want to be a Servant of Light:

Tell Bastila that you now draw your power from the Light Side, that you've learned from your mistakes, and eventually that you are a servant of the light. She will run to her ship at area #3, and flee the planet back to the Star Forge to recoup. You'll no doubt be meeting her again at some point in the future.

For now, head to area #4 and use the computer to "shut down planetary disruptor field" and "shut down temple energy shield." Then you're free to head back to the Ebon Hawk, fix the Hyperdrive (if still necessary), and fly to the Star Forge. However, if you retrieved the genetic data from the Temple Catacombs (#5) computer, feel free to first complete the Ll'awa research quest at the Elder Settlement (#3) before leaving the planet, assuming you're still friendly with the Elders.

When you reach Central Beach (#2), all your party members will be standing outside the Ebon Hawk, wanting to know what happened. Tell them Bastila's gone to the Dark Side, and to avoid any (DS Points), ask Jolee if she can still be saved. Then tell them all you can and will save her. You may now enter the Ebon Hawk, fix the Hyperdrive - see The Ebon Hawk (#1) under the "Replacement Ship Parts" quest - and fly to the Star Forge.

  • So you want to be a Dark Lord:

Tell Bastila that you are the new dark lord and that together you shall rule the Galaxy. Jolee and Juhani (if she's in your party) will most certainly object and you'll have to strike them down. As a bonus, you'll now have Bastila for the fight and can make use of her new dark powers. When the battle is over and you've lost two of your former companions, you'll need to go over to area #4 and use the computer to "shut down planetary disruptor field" and "shut down temple energy shield" so that you can exit back out through the Temple Main Floor (#1) exit, then make your way back to the Central Beach when you're ready.

You'll notice now that you are at the very least halfway down on the dark/light continuum on your character's profile page, even were you 100% light before. This is a significant change if you were a Light Side character and you'll retain all of your former force powers. Bastila, however, will have completely new ones. She'll have many of the upgrades to the most powerful Dark Side force powers, but lose all Light Side powers except the Cure line of spells, which will now cost a lot to use.

When you reach Central Beach (#2), all your party members will be standing outside the Ebon Hawk, wanting to know what happened. They'll notice that members of your party are now missing, and Bastila will fill them in on the details. Now you'll have a decision to make. Canderous will stay with your party, but Mission and Carth will most definitely not. Zaalbar will, and both the droids will as well. Concerning Zaalbar and Mission, if you allow Mission to go without a fight, she'll join Carth and flee the area. However, if you want to be really evil, you can attempt to make Zaalbar kill her. The only way you'll be able to make him turn on Mission is by using force persuade. Otherwise he won't and you'll fight both of them to the death, leaving you with the Droids, Canderous and Bastila as your remaining party members. Zaalbar can turn on your at the Star Forge later if you made him kill Mission.

After you've reunited with your party aboard the Ebon Hawk, you can fix the Hyperdrive stabilizers with the ship parts you found on the planet - see The Ebon Hawk (#1) under the "Replacement Ship Parts" quest - and fly to the Star Forge. Bastila will be a required party member once there.

    3 - Bastila's Ship

If you've chosen the Light Side after fighting Bastila, she'll flee the planet on this ship when you've made your choice. If you've chosen the Dark Side, the ship will remain and you two will join the others back at the Ebon Hawk.

    4 - Rakatan Computer

The only choices are "shut down planetary disruptor field" and "shut down temple energy shield," so choose them both, and then head back to the temple entrance at Temple Main Floor (#1) when ready.
