You’ll receive this quest when you talk to Sartan at Windstone Fortress
(Windstone Fortress, #10).
Walkthrough
Sartan will ask you to free him. Surprisingly, this won’t require a lot of effort on your part.
After you’ve completed the
Windstone Fortress primary quest, simply talk to Soldier Orayne (right next to Sartan’s hole)
and he’ll free the half-giant.
Once he’s free, Sartan will offer to join your party. If you refuse his offer, then he’ll move on
to the Eirulan inn
(Eirulan, #5).
