Area Note
In this region, and elsewhere in the Underworld, you’ll find spirits trapped in soul cages. Opening one of the cages (later in the
Daemon Camp) will lead to a side quest, but for the rest, as far as we can tell, absolutely nothing will happen if you open them (or not).
Walkthrough
1 - Daemon Storeroom
You’ll probably find a majestic chest inside the storeroom.
2 - Den of Tantalus
You probably won’t find anything of interest inside the den (at least on the normal difficulty setting).
3 - Shade Feaster
The shade feaster is a hydradon boss. It can breathe fire and hit you with melee attacks, but it’s pretty wimpy for all the buildup it was given, and you should be able to defeat it easily. Killing the shade feaster will complete the side quest “The Stygian Lurker” and earn you +4 strength, +4 dexterity, +4 intelligence, and 35,000 experience points.
