Palace of Hades

Did we miss anything in this section? Is there something we didn't discover? Let us know!

1 - Typhon

Typhon will appear as a great big skeleton when you face him this time, and he'll use a variety of attacks against you (including the ever popular "puking spears" attack), but he won't have any statues helping him out this time, and he won't regenerate his health if you die, and so you shouldn't have nearly as much trouble with him this time as you did on Mount Olympus.

2 - Persephone

You'll find Persephone here bound by a pair of "ancient locks." You'll have to attack the locks to destroy them. Once Persephone has been released, she'll tell you that you'll need to face Hades and "free us from this madness." Then she'll walk over to the nearby door (#3) and open it.

Talking to Persephone will also update the main quest "The Immortal Throne" and net you a random scroll.

Note: Persephone was a goddess in Greek mythology. She was the Queen of the Underworld and the consort of Hades. You can read more about her here.

3 - Door

Persephone (#2) will open this door for you after you've released her from her shackles and talked to her.

4 - Shards of Erebus

You'll need to destroy five of these shards to complete the side quest "The Shards of Erebus." Each shard can only be destroyed once per difficulty level, but each time you destroy one, it will leave behind a Crystal of Erebus. You'll find the other three shards in the Royal Chambers.

5 - Dysnomion

Dysnomion is one of the three machae high generals that you'll need to kill to complete the side quest "Hades' Generals." You'll find the other two generals in the Prison of Souls.
