Elysium

Did we miss anything in this section? Is there something we didn't discover? Let us know!

1 - Tiresias

You’ll see your good friend the projection of Tiresias once again here. This time he’ll tell you that “only living spirit can banish death.” If you replace “living spirit” with your name and “death” with “Hades,” you’ll have a pretty good idea about what you’ll need to do to complete the campaign.

2 - Admetus

At this spot you’ll meet your other good friend, Admetus. Talking to him will complete the side quest “Admetus Among the Dead” and earn you 34,000 experience points.

3 - Agamemnon

Agamemnon will update the main quest “The Battle for Elysium.” He’ll tell you that the battle is not going well for the heroes of Elysium, and he’ll echo to you what you should have just heard from Tiresias (#1): “You must stop Hades’ himself!” To that end, Agamemnon will direct you to seek out Odysseus, who has a plan for breaching the Palace of Hades. Odyssesus can be found in Argolis.

Note: Agamemnon was a figure in Greek mythology. He was the king of the Mycenaeans, and he led the Greek forces in the Trojan War. You can read more about Agamemnon here.

4 - Gate

This gate won’t open until you’ve spoken to Agamemnon (#3).

5 - Perinthean Armory

This is an optional area where you’re likely to find demons, undead, and loot.

6 - Alcinous

Alcinous will trigger the side quest “The Siege Striders.” He’ll tell you that the siege striders in Aneslasia are causing major problems for Elysium’s defenders, and he’ll ask you to destroy them. Once you’ve done so, returning to Alcinous will net you a scroll and 35,000 experience points.

“You have enabled us to hold this poor piece of land. I pray that the siege striders shall trouble us no more.”

7 - Nestor

The first time you talk to him, Nestor will tell you that he needs a message delivered to Ajax in Aneslasia. This is the trigger for the side quest “Flight of the Messenger.” When you talk to Nestor a second time, Nestor’s Messenger will begin following you, and you’ll need to escort him to Ajax. Just like in the escort mission from Coastal Asomata, if the messenger dies, you can just talk to Nestor again to get a new one, and so you don’t really have to worry about keeping him safe. However, if you really want the messenger to live, you can simply clear the path to Ajax before talking to Nestor the second time. For completing the quest, you’ll receive a random piece of jewelry and 35,000 experience points.
