Perks: Level 14
Adamantium Skeleton (1 Rank)

With the adamantium skeleton perk, your limbs only receive 50% of the damage they normally would.

Our grade: D. Instead of taking less damage, you can just pause the game and use stimpaks to heal the damage. So if you don't have any problem acquiring stimpaks, this perk isn't necessary at all.

Chemist (1 Rank)

With the chemist perk, the chems you take last twice as long. Requires Medicine 60.

Our grade: D. This perk is useful if you like to take chems, but most chems last long enough as they are to get you out of sticky situations, and you'll find plenty of chems in the wasteland.

Contract Killer (1 Rank)

Becoming a contract killer means that any good character you kill will have an ear on their corpse, which you can then sell to a certain person (whose identity will be disclosed when you take the perk) for caps and negative karma.

Our grade: D. Unless you're planning to euthanize lots of towns and such, you won't kill off many good characters in the game.

Cyborg (1 Rank)

You've made permanent enhancements to your body! This perk instantly adds 10% to your damage, poison, and radiation resistances, and 10 points to your Energy Weapons skill. Requires science 60, Medicine 60.

Our grade: A. This is like the Toughness perk with 10 skill points thrown in extra. So it's a good perk even if you don't plan to use energy weapons, and it's a great perk if you do.

Lawbringer (1 Rank)

Becoming a lawbringer means that any evil character you kill will have a finger on their corpse, which you can then sell to a certain person (whose identity will be disclosed when you take the perk) for caps and positive karma.

Our grade: C-. Raiders and slavers and Talon mercenaries are all considered evil, so you'll find evil characters all over the place. But you'll only earn caps for turning in their fingers, so if you don't need the caps then the perk isn't especially useful.

Light Step (1 Rank)

With this perk, you never set off an enemy's mines or floor-based traps. Requires PE 6, AG 6.

Our grade: D+. Mines always beep, giving you time to disarm them, and you won't encounter them very often.

Master Trader (1 Rank)

When you become a master trader, the price of every item you buy from a vendor is reduced by 25%. Requires CH 6, barter 60.

Our grade: D. You shouldn't have a problem making money in the game, especially by level 14, and so lower prices won't help you a lot.
