DLC Quest: A Spoonful of Whiskey

Did we miss anything in this section? Is there something we didn't discover? Let us know!

Background

Marguerite will give you this quest when you meet with her in her shack (#1).

Walkthrough

Marguerite will try to convince you that she’s sick with “Orange Fever” and that she needs a special “tonic” to be cured. If you have enough points invested in the Medicine skill, then you’ll realize that she’s faking, but either way she’ll try to make you a deal. If you bring her the ingredients necessary for a batch of her tonic, then she’ll give you a reward.

Here’s what you’ll need:
All of the ingredients can be found all over Point Lookout. Punga fruit grows outside, and you can find it in bunches in the sacred bog (#2), in and around the cathedral (#3), and in the field next to the grower’s shack (#4). Yeast and Fission Batteries can be found inside most buildings. The two mansions (#5 and #6) are good sources for them, and you might also try visiting Haley (#7) and Madam Panada (#8).

When you return with the ingredients to Marguerite, she’ll tell you that the batch is “brewin’ low and slow,” and she’ll ask you to come back in a day. When you do, you’ll receive 50 experience points, 6 jugs of Moonshine, and 300 caps. You can repeat this quest as many times as you’d like, for the same reward each time, but you’ll have to wait a couple of days in between each batch.

Note: With at least 44 points in the Repair skill, you’ll be able to upgrade Marguerite’s still. If you do so then you’ll earn 100-200 caps.
