AR5200 (Southwest of Nashkel)

Did we miss anything in this location? Is there something we didn't discover? Let us know!

This area is situated directly to the East of the Gnoll Stronghold, so expect to see a lot of them around. There are also a few wolves in the region, so be prepared.

1- GNOLL:

Asks you for a 50 gp. tribute for passing through his territory. You can either pay or fight their champion, who is rather easy to defeat. Once he dies the other gnolls will go away.

2- DRYAD OF THE CLOUDPEAKS:

Asks you to protect a wondrous ancient oak from 2 brothers who wish to cut it down in order to find the treasures inside. There are 2 ways of doing this quest:

Good way: Accept her offer and kill Caldo and Krumm. You'll get 175 Exp. for each of them, a Potion of Healing, a Club +1, and a Girdle of Bluntness. Then, talk to the Dryad for another 500 Exp., +1 Reputation and an Antidote.

Evil way: Join Caldo and Krumm in their quest to cut down the tree. However, they will get scared by the Dryad and flee, leaving you alone to fight her. You get 975 Exp. for killing her, a Potion of Healing and an Antidote, but your reputation takes a hit!

3- CAVE:

There is a Dire Wolf you'll have to fight when you enter this cave. Then, loot the chest in middle of the cave for 238 gp., a Halberd +1 and a Necklace (random).

4- DRIENNE:

Asks you to find her cat, Pixie, who played near the waterfall and slipped. Pixie's body can be found at the area (5). You get 200 Exp., +1 Reputation and a scroll of Protection from the Undead for returning it to Drienne.

5- PIXIE:

Here you can find the body of Pixie, Drienne's cat. Return it to Drienne for a nice reward.

6- INGOT:

A gnoll who has been exiled from the Gnoll Stronghold because he wanted to roast Dynaheir while the others wanted to keep her prisoner! You get 235 Exp. if you decide to fight him, and he drops the powerful "Chelsey Crusher" Halberd +2 (1 attack per round, +4 damage).
