Background

You'll receive this quest from Michael Angelo in Michael Angelo's Workshop in the New Vegas Strip (#1).


Walkthrough

During your conversation with Michael, you'll learn that he doesn't like to leave his workshop, but that he needs inspiration for his sign-building business. Eventually, he'll hit upon the idea of supplying you with a camera so you can take pictures of several famous signs for him. If you agree to this task, then Michael will give you a Codac R9000 camera and some Camera Film. The camera is basically the same as a gun (with the film as its ammunition), and you'll equip it and "shoot" it in the same way. If you run out of Camera Film, then you can always return to Michael for more.

To complete the quest, you'll need to take pictures at five locations:

• Camp McCarran, front entrance sign (#2)
• HELIOS One, front entrance sign (#3)
• Novac, Dinky the Dinosaur thermometer (#4)
• Primm, Bison Steve roof sign (#5)
• Sunset Sarsaparilla Headquarters, front entrance/bottle sign (#6)

Each time you successfully take a picture, you'll meet an objective in the quest, and you'll earn 100-200 xp (and so you'll always know if you took a "good" picture or not). Then when you return to Michael, he'll pay you 150 caps per picture, and, after completing the task, he'll add in 500 more caps, and you'll also earn 200 xp and some Strip fame.

Note: The Codac R9000 is a quest item. It will forever stay in your inventory after accepting the quest.
