This level of Assault Rifle Proficiency provides bonuses to Accuracy and Recoil Control.


RANK 2: Improved Rifle Critical Hit (Basic)

Time to Aim Critical Hits: 3 seconds

The Assault Rifle can be steadied for a deadly Critical Hit attack. To ready a Critical Hit, hold the appropriate button and remain stationary - a set of crosshairs will appear in the reticule indicating the lining up of a Critical Hit. Once the crosshairs are in the dead center of the reticule, the next burst fired will have a perfect grouping down the reticule. Moving or letting go of the appropriate button will unsteady your aim and ruin the lining up of the Critical Hit. The Improved Assault Rifle Critical Hit ability reduces the time needed to line up a Critical Hit.


RANK 3: Focused Aim (Basic)

Duration: 10 seconds
Cooldown: 60 seconds

Focused Aim provides a brief period of lock-on capabilities. When the appropriate button is pressed, the crosshairs will automatically track to the enemy nearest to the center of your aim. This ability can only be used when an assault rifle is equipped.


RANK 4: Armed and Dangerous (Assault Rifle)

The Armed and Dangerous ability allows Mike to carry twice his normal allotment of assault rifle ammunition into the field.


RANK 5: Assault Rifle Proficiency (Trained)

Damage: +3

This level of Assault Rifle Proficiency provides a bonus to Damage.
