Background

At a Hidden Treasure spot in Velen North (#1), you'll encounter a level 32 basilisk, and you'll find a corpse holding an Unsent Letter and a Slightly Bent Key. Reading the letter will trigger the quest.


Walkthrough

From the letter, you'll learn that the victim was carrying some treasure as the "dowry" for her marriage. You'll find the treasure -- a collection of random equipment -- in the locked chest nearby. The key will allow you to open the chest. Looting the chest will complete the quest.
