Background

At a Hidden Treasure location in Velen South (#1), you'll discover a corpse being guarded by a level 28 grave hag. After defeating the hag, when you loot the corpse, you'll find a Key to a Burned Down House and a Crumpled Letter. Reading the letter will trigger the quest.


Walkthrough

From the letter you'll learn that there are valuables hidden in the nearby burned house. You won't have to search for them. They'll be in plain sight in a locked chest right next to the house. The key from the corpse will allow you to open the chest. Inside, you'll find a leveled version of the steel sword Harvall plus some random items. Looting the chest will complete the quest.
