Traps Skill Tree


Active Skills

To use an active skill, you must assign the skill to one of your character's Action Icons. In general, active skills are split between the left and right Action Icons. You will need to examine the Action Icon menus for your character to determine how your active skills are split between them.

Passive Skills

Passive skills are always in use, and are never assigned to an Action Icon. Passive skills are colored red with a gold symbol in your skill-tree to help you identify them. Passive skills do not consume Mana, and are active from the time you learn the skill.

Auras

Unique to Paladins and certain creatures, Auras project a field of influence around the caster. Any allied character, hireling or minion will benefit from the aura so long as they are within the aura's range. Those who are under the effect of an aura are indicated in the Play Area by a glowing halo beneath their feet.

Curses

Necromancers and some monsters possess the ability to influence the fate of others around them. A curse affects those within a certain radius of the caster, and victims are marked for misfortune by a fuming haze above their heads.

Fire Blast Fire Blast 1 none This skill gives an Assassin the ability to manufacture and throw a small incendiary device. This ordnance explodes on impact, damaging any foe within its small blast radius.
Shock Web Shock Web 6 Fire Blast (1) These traps comprise a collection of small conductive components that are electricity between one another, damaging any opponents who tread upon them.
Blade Sentinel Blade Sentinel 6 none This skill allows the Assassin to throw a razor-sharp device that flies back and forth between the Assassin and its target, slicing any hostile creatures in its path.
Charged Bolt Sentry Charged Bolt Sentry 12 Fire Blast (1)

This small device, once cast upon the ground, emits charges of electricity that shock any adversary who strays too close.
Wake of Fire Wake of Fire 12 Fire Blast (1) Once erected, this trap releases waves of searing flames that incinerate any opponents within its path.

This device discharges great bolts of electricity, frying any assailants foolish enough to come near.

Once an Assassin throws it to the ground, this trap expels a large spout of fire at any opponent who moves within its range.

This trap emits projectiles laden with a potent chemical catalyst, detonating the exposed cadavers of slain enemies.
