With Atlas Fallen launching in just two months, on May 16, 2023, Deck13 brings back their "Inside" video series, previously used to promote The Surge 2, in order to shine some light on their next fast-paced action-RPG.
The first episode dedicated to Atlas Fallen tells us what this new project retains from The Surge 2, how it improves on that legacy and what makes it unique, with agility and verticality being among the key selling points. We're also told about the shapeshifting Sand Wraiths we'll get to fight in the game, and the Essence Stones that will let us customize our characters and grant them new passive and active skills.
Then, we're also told a thing or two about the game's sand-covered world, why it is the way it is, and how it operates. And finally, we get some background lore and a quick look at the NPCs we'll get to meet in the game.
