Warchief Gaming, Chris Metzen’s tabletop-focused studio, opened its doors last year. And now, they’re about ready to release their debut product in Auroboros: Coils of the Serpent. This new Dungeons & Dragons campaign setting is currently live on Kickstarter with 30 days to go and over $500,000 pledged. Considering the initial goal of $50,000, this campaign is pretty much the definition of a sure thing.
Supporting the campaign will get you the Auroboros source book and player guide describing Metzen’s new setting, the realm of Lawbrand and its factions. Apart from that, the books will grant you access to new races and subclasses, monsters, character backgrounds, magic items, and more.

Welcome to Lawbrand
Auroboros: Coils of the Serpent is a 5E campaign setting by Chris Metzen and Warchief Gaming. The first release in this universe, Worldbook: Lawbrand, is based on the roleplaying campaign that Chris ran with his childhood friends in the eighties and nineties, before heading to Blizzard to work on worlds such as Warcraft, StarCraft, and more.
As a 5E compatible source book, Worldbook: Lawbrand gives players and GMs all the tools they’ll need to create their own adventures in this epic fantasy world.

In addition to character creation options, you’ll also discover new magic items, spells, and “Sigils”, a new form of customization.
