Great Foundry 2 (AR0503) [Legacy Page]

Did we miss anything on this map? Is there something we didn't discover? Let us know!

1 - Sarossa

A woman by the name of Sarossa will be standing here. She is Saros' sister and will provide information concerning the Godsmen. On your last task to join the Godsmen, you can tell Sarossa that Sandoz is attempting suicide, and she will tell you what to say to him to convince him not to kill himself. Once you've joined the faction, you can talk to her again to gain a +1 bonus to your wisdom score.

Another item worthy of mention is that if you tell Kedlor that Saros is in the Anarchist faction, Sarossa will be very angry with you for getting her brother in trouble.

2 - Keldor

The Godsmen leader, Keldor, sits behind a podium here. If you express interest in joining their faction, Keldor will ask three things of you.

First, he will send you to Thildon in the forge room to create some sort of item at the forge. Bring back your creation and Keldor will next ask you to investigate a murder (see our Great Foundry 1 location on how to solve the crime).

Once you've returned to Keldor with your verdict, he will tell you that one of the Godsmen, Sandoz, is threatening to kill himself. You can find Sandoz up the stairs at area #3. If you speak with Sarossa at area #1, she will tell you what to say to Sandoz in order to convince him not to kill himself.

Once you've convinced Sandoz that life isn't so bad, Keldor will accept you into the ranks of the Godsmen. This will allow you to purchase some pretty powerful equipment, while you'll find listed in the table below. Now that you're a Godsmen, Keldor will also give you a Godsmen Token, which will grant you access to the secret weapon room in the Great Foundry 1 location.

3 - Nihl

A Godsmen named Nihl stands at the base of these stairs. He recognizes you and tells you about a "dream machine" you had commissioned for long ago. To finish its creation, he will ask for a piece of your flesh in a bottle filled with your blood. You can obtain the blood and flesh by visiting the Apothecary in the Clerk's Ward.

Once you've obtained the bottle, return to Nihl and he'll send you on a mission to get the razor birdcage from Coaxmetal within the Siege Tower out in the Lower Ward. To gain access to the Siege Tower, you have to speak with Lazlo in the market building. Once you're inside, get the cage from Coaxmetal and return it to Nihl.

Nihl's last request is a coffin pillow from Hamrys, the coffin maker. Head to Hamrys' shop in the Lower Ward and he'll send you to the warehouse to pick up the pillow. Get the pillow from the warehouse and bring it to Nihl to finish the quest for the dream machine.

Additionally, you'll have to head up these stairs when you're completing Keldor's tasks to join the Godsmen. Sandoz is upstairs and he is threatening to kill himself. Speak with Sarossa at area #1 and then head up the stairs and tell Sandoz what she said. Sandoz will decide not to kill himself and you can head back downstairs to tell Keldor the good news.

4 - Saros

Sarossa's brother, Saros, is hanging out by himself here. Saros is one of the suspects in the murder that Keldor asks you to solve. As you're investigating, you'll find out that Saros is in the Anarchist faction.

However, Saros will provide information to help you catch the murderer (Thildon). Regardless, if you want to turn him in, you can tell Keldor at area #2 about Saros' involvement with the Anarchists to get him in trouble.

5 - Bedai-Lihn

Bedai-Lihn, another one of the murder suspects, will be standing up on this balcony. You can question her, but she doesn't know a whole lot. In fact, Bedai-Lihn will not speak to you much at all until you've joined the Godsmen and know about the secret weapon.

If you speak to her after you've joined the Godsmen faction, you can inquire about the Anarchist faction. Bedai-Lihn will ask if you'd like to join, and if you're willing, she'll ask that you perform a couple tasks. She'll ask that you kill Sandoz (up the stairs at area #3) and sabotage the secret weapon.

If you choose to carry out these tasks, Bedai-Lihn will ask you to get her a disguise (which can be obtained from Nadalin the receipt guy) in order to sneak out. Do so, and Bedai-Lihn will give you a secret code ("The city must burn.") to join the Anarchists.
