Blumberg has been sacked by gnolls, who are looking for the kobold that fled the crypt.
1 - DYING MAN
A dying old man asks for your help and you can heal him or finish him off, depending on your alignment. If you heal him, he gets killed by gnoll archers as soon as you are finished talking to him, anyway.
2 - DEEKIN
The kobold (Deekin) is hiding in a hut with the tower statue, which he says is broken. He’ll give it to you if you convince his master to set him free. His master is a dragon, though, so it may not be that easy. If you get to the Blumberg exit point on the Foothills map quickly enough, you can talk to Deekin there and avoid this map entirely.
It’s time to follow the kobold tracks North, to the Nether Mountains.
