Cyan Prison
Area Note

When you enter the prison, Dylan Ogder will tell you that the prisoners from the last battle have staged a rebellion, and that they've taken over the dungeon below. He'll then, of course, ask you to help. All you'll have to do is go into the dungeon and kill the hobgoblin taskmaster (#4). Once you've done that and returned to Ogder, you'll receive 500 experience.

1 - Locked Door

The door becomes unlocked after you've killed the hobgoblin taskmaster (#4).

2 - Arrow-Filled Guard

On the corpse you can find a cell key and thieves' tools +1. If you plan to rescue Stiletto (#5), then you should hang onto the tools.

3 - Prisoners

These are regular prisoners rather than elements of the Masked Man's army, so you'll have a choice when you find them. If you have the cell key (found at #1), then you can simply free them. If you have short swords as well, then you can arm them and ask them to fight for you. However, if you do the latter then the prisoners will run off ahead of you and probably get themselves killed. You won't get any experience or reward for either choice.

4 - Hobgoblin Taskmaster

The hobgoblin taskmaster is the one responsible for the rebellion in the dungeon. Killing him will complete Dylan Ogder's quest.

If you have Trip with you, then he'll find a ring of protection +2 on the hobgoblin's toe, and he'll give it to you once you've left the dungeon.

5 - Stiletto

Stiletto is a halfling thief. If you want to get the vote of the thief guild, then you'll have to free him, either by releasing him here or by convincing Enivid Divine (in the Guildhall) that he should go free. If you plan to release him, then you'll need a set of thieves' tools to get him out, even if you're a rogue.
