Demigod is great fun, and some people will get the same acute addiction that others have for DotA. It looks well, it moves well, the sound is good, but there are edges to be polished before it can become a serious online phenomenon. The good news is that it can be done. At its roots, there's nothing wrong with the game, and the pleas of the community are mainly targeted towards the limited content and the lack of innovation.
While the other is at Hardcore Gamer with a score of 4/5:
There is more variation than DotA, but there are still only eight maps and most are slightly tweaked versions of an original with some cosmetic differences. Still, the game is just downright fun and the staff has been hard at work fixing the numerous online connection issues. When it works, Demigod is a game with plenty of fun to be had and at times even rivals its source material.
