Sacred 2: Fallen Angel Reviews

The console versions of Sacred 2: Fallen Angel continue to be the subject of somewhat mediocre reviews.

The first is at Eurogamer with a score of 6/10:
If you're a real loot addict, looking for a quick fix before Diablo 3 turns you into a precious-hoarding, daylight-shunning, subterranean Gollum, there are worse options than Scared 2. It presents you with a giant world, one that has some unique aspects and is generally seamless and deep. With patience, tolerance and a willingness to ignore all the problems and the awkward hokum, there are dozens - if not hundreds - of hours of playtime on offer.

The second is at PSX Extreme with a score of 6.0/10:
Sacred 2 has the potential to be a good game. Ultimately, it's combat, boring story, convoluted world map, and lack of character customization drags it down considerably. With just slightly more fluid gameplay, this could've been a fairly enjoyable experience that fans of the genre would like. But unfortunately, all of those flaws coupled with bland visuals make for a game you're better off passing.

The third is at The Gamers' Temple with a score of 80%:
Let's be honest: Sacred 2: Fallen Angel has some problems. Certain aspects of the finished product seem rushed and incomplete, and both the story and graphics leave a good bit to be desired. BUT. the game has its positive points as well. Blind Guardian's song and appearance are at the top of my list, but even those who aren't familiar with the band will find a lot to like in this game. The online components and staggering amount of stuff to do will keep those who give it a chance playing for a good while to come. Stuff I didn't even get to in this review (mounts, monstrous bosses, etc.) will thrill some and repel others, but if you need an RPG on the 360 (or PS3, though this review is only concerned with the 360 version) and you like the more action-oriented stuff, Sacred 2 is more than worth your time and money.

And the fourth is at GameTrailers with a score of 5.3/10.
