In Rise of the Argonauts, worshippers of Athena live a measured and thoughtful lifestyle. For every circumstance they may face, there is a virtue that should guide their decisions. Humility, courage, discipline - these are but some of the principles that each of her followers strives to uphold and to encourage in others. While some might deem them stern or inflexible, they seek to withhold their judgment until they know the facts, but will not hesitate to deliver bloody justice if it is needed.

When Jason makes an Athena-aligned choice, he is choosing to give a measured response, analyzing the circumstances before him and selecting a course of action reinforced by sound logical principles. Such decisions are firm convictions tempered by reason. They may be decrees or judgments, accusations or formal challenges, shrewdly formulated strategies or sworn vows, cold analysis or righteous anger. With such alternatives, the hero can bring order to chaotic situations, denounce the cruel and unjust, and boldly champion those in need of aid.
