The Witcher: Enhanced Edition E3 Previews

A few of the very same websites featuring E3 previews of Storm of Zehir have also brought us some impressions of CD Projekt's The Witcher: Enhanced Edition. First up this time is Gaming Nexus:
One primary issue is that conversations seemed to be a little too scripted and not nearly enough like a normal conversation. Over 200 hand gestures have been added to help this issue, along with characters actually pausing, almost as if they were taking in the information and then deciding what to say.

Then it's Blast Magazine:
In addition to updated features like more than 5000 rerecorded lines of dialogue and a new character differentiation system for non-playable characters, the enhanced edition also includes a multilingual game disc which allows any language combination of voice-over and subtitles, the official soundtrack CD and a short story by The Witcher novelist Andrzej Sapkowski.

And, finally, Kotaku:
The expanded edition features over 5,000 lines of totally rewritten and rerecorded script, as well as a whole new German script created from scratch (was it that bad?). In addition to the script itself, a slew of new dialogue animations were added to make characters look less like wooden blocks and more like dynamic people. Monsters and NPCs are still based on the same character models, but have gotten randomly generated clothes and colors to shake things up a bit. Further, the inventory system has been improved and makes for easier storage and sorting; there is also an easier system for collecting loot after battles. Importantly, load times have been significantly reduced.

I realize we already know all of this, but a good refresher never hurt anyone.
