BlizzCon 2007 Reports

Joystiq, Shacknews, and Ten Ton Hammer bring us the latest reports of what took place at this year's BlizzCon event. A snip from Joystiq's coverage:
They did send us out with a bang that included 30 minutes of fairly decent comedy with Jay Mohr, a performance by Level 70 Elite Tauren Chieftain (the highlight of the night of which a brief video appears above), and a pretty sweet set from Video Games Live, including the Diablo theme being played on a 12-string guitar. That was the best moment of the night, and makes us wonder even more when there will be some sort of a Diablo sequel.

A snip from Shacknews' coverage:
Bursting into Hall A, the endless rows of projector screens and computer terminals greeting them, it was hard not to feel your own pulse quicken. Like the start of a new Warcraft server, the race was on, with the demo stations and limited supplies of merchandise serving as the quest rewards. Rides and stalls lined the perimeter of the space, the vendor NPCs pushing their various wares. The main attractions occupied the central arenas like a three-ring circus--on the right StarCraft II, on your left Wrath of the Lich King, and in the middle, the main stage: Downtown BlizzCon.

And a snip from Ten Ton Hammer's coverage:
Seeing the instance chart for the new expansion, I love it. There will be just as many instances in Northrend as there was in the Outlands. That's amazing for instance lovers. In outlands there are enough that you can level from 60-70 all the way in instances if you want. I like that a lot. Having a Protection based paladin I am never without a group, so will be able to move through the instances very quickly and look forward to exploring them over and over again.
