Dawn of Magic does everything in the RPG book by-the-numbers, only it seems to have used all the wrong numbers. Chances are you've already seen everything in here, only now you have the opportunity to see it done badly. Truth is, you could pick up several much better games for the same price as this mediocre one. It's very difficult to fathom why this game was made at all, since in a genre in desperate need of innovation, all it provides is poor quality duplication. There's no immersive story, no compulsive gameplay, and no sense of quality or passion just a few gimmicky ideas and some pretty graphics in an engine that can barely handle them.
