Dungeons & Dragons Online Developer Chat Log

Turbine's official Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach website has been updated with an edited transcript of a recent developer chat hosted by Darkmyst.
Q: In regards to content, it sounds like you're focusing on wilderness areas. Does that mean no new quests?

[JWBarry_DDO] Most definitely not. Wilderness areas have become an important part of the game and something we've been working on filling out the full level spread with them. Their aim is to provide something for casual players and those with only 15 minutes to play to do. However, we are a dungeon game. That's what we do, that's where we really shine and I believe our best content is.

[JWBarry_DDO] Module 5 will feature a new large landscape, and several new dungeons, I believe the current count is just over 10. The plan as of now is to have mod 5 be the conclusion of the Litany of the Dead story arc, and we'll be leveraging all of our resources to make it as good as it can possibly.

[JWBarry_DDO] I've been working the Litany of the Dead personally since it's initial inception, and I'm excited to be able to have the full support and leverage behind it that comes with a module. Expect that there will be many dungeons in 5 and they should exceed the quality of 4.
