The Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles Reviews

Reviews of Bethesda's The Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles expansion pack continue to surface, with three more showing up today. The first is at GameTrailers with an overall score of 8.6/10:
Anyone feverishly clawing at their 360 for more Oblivion will venture forth through this new dimension with a smile on their face, but once you do the math, Shivering Isles is just as overpriced as Knights of the Nine and the downloads that came before it. And although this wacky head trip is an amusing distraction, hopefully the next expansion will take itself more seriously.

The second is at TrustedReviews with an overall score of 8/10:
Much, much better than the average add-on, The Shivering Isles is a superb expansion that dares to take Oblivion somewhere new and undeniably fascinating.

The third is at Gamehelper with an overall score of 9.0/10:
Obviously, those who loved Oblivion will not be able to resist Shivering Isles. Nor should they. An engaging new quest and a huge new territory to explore would have been sufficient cause for excitement. Instead, Bethesda goes the extra mile and serves up new weapons, new armor, new spells, and some challenging new enemies as well. As a result, Shivering Isles is a much richer experience than it might have been. Oh, and another thing: I would be remiss if I didn't mention just how beautiful the landscape is. The night sky is especially breathtaking. I suggest you fire up your Xbox and download this one as soon as humanly possible. You'd be crazy to miss it.
