This is a story that spans the Milky Way Galaxy, and as this is a pretty big place, Bioware has given you a way to travel through it. Namely an interactive galaxy map. Here you can simply browse through a number of so-called star clusters, and if something piques your interest in a particular cluster, you simply select it, and fly there. Now much of this has nothing to do with the main story, but simply about exploration. Once you arrive at your destination, you can do a quick scan of the planets (or moons, or asteroids, or abandoned starships) in the area. If you find something you like, you can choose to get some more information from orbit, or drop down the surface for a closer look using a customizable all-terrain combat vehicle.
