As with the events preceding the opening of Ahn'Qiraj, the christening of Naxxramas won't be without fanfare, which will be in the form of Scourge invasions. If you've seen the Shadow of the Necropolis trailer, then you've noticed the scene depicting the mini-necropolises floating above Thunder Bluff and Ironforge. What does this mean? Expect the Scourge invasion to hit closer to home than you'd expect. When asked if the "opening event" would resemble the Silithus war effort, we were told that non-raiders shouldn't expect to feel as if they were doing a service to their hardcore brethren; the implication was that everyone would have a concrete motivation this time around.
