Dungeon Siege II: Broken World E3 Previews

Both IGN PC and GameSpot have published their impressions of Gas Powered Games' Dungeon Siege II: Broken World, based on what they saw of the expansion pack on the show floor of E3. A snip from IGN PC's article:
DSII: Broken World introduces two new player classes. The first is the Fist of Stone, a class which is essentially a Dwarven martial artist. The second is the previously mentioned Blood Assassin. Elves that choose this class have the ability to enhance their attack modifiers by using part of their HP (up to a maximum of 40% of their total life). This class is very good at monster management, as they can attack multiple monsters at once (depending on the number of marks your character has per round). Like Dungeon Siege II, you are limited to four members in your party. This time around, however, you can gain a 5th member once you beat the expansion. According to Ruth Tomandl, Level Designer for Gas Powered Games, a party with one Fist of Stone Dwarf and one Blood Assassin Elf is very effective. Against baddies, this party will have buffs of defense (including walls of stone) by means of the Fist along with offensive bonuses due to the Blood Assassin.

And a snip from GameSpot's article:
Based on what we've seen, the game has a very dark, depressed look of a world in ruin. There are outside and indoor environments from ornate, supernatural dungeons to gray, dead forests. The enemies include a massive neon spider creature, and a disfigured humanoid beast with horns. There are also new pets in the game, although the only one we've seen is an ethereal ram of some sort.
