Dark Age of Camelot: Darkness Rising Interview

Gamecloud has conducted an interview with Mythic Entertainment's Sanya Weathers, quizzing the internet relations manager about the upcoming Dark Age of Camelot: Darkness Rising expansion pack. There are a couple of general questions as well, such as the following:
Q: Mythic also halted their plans to make Imperator this summer. How did Mythic feel about this decision and will the company ever revive this game since so much time went into making it?

A: I know it might be hard to believe, and it's probably a first in the entertainment world, but all the information really was in the press release. We had an exciting concept, and initial feedback from those playing the demo was terrific. But we were not sure we'd be able to deliver the top shelf product we wanted to deliver by the deadline we had. By making the call to postpone Imperator in the summer, we saved the company a lot of potential grief (and totally avoided the dreaded layoffs). Now we're focused on Warhammer, and of course, our flagship product Dark Age of Camelot. In other words, we feel about as good as you can expect. We've held on to all the assets we developed, and you never say never in gaming.
