Ultimately, The Bard's Tale is a (love it or hate it) type of game, since most players will decide in the first 10-15 minutes if they're going to see the Bard's adventure through to its end, which comes after about 15 hours of playtime. If you're looking for a complex RPG, with lots of items, weapons, skills and intricate dialog options, you're looking in the wrong place. But if you a want a simple game, which will surely steal a smile or two of your face, then The Bard's Tale might be just what you're looking for.
