Veterans of Star Wars Galaxies also get a special reward, being an unarmed luxury yacht (that cannot be attacked) for throwing parties on. The yacht is based on the novels featuring Lando's ship the Lady Luck, which can hold a maximum of 20 people. To invite people onto your ship they simply need to be in your group on the ground when you launch. Although I haven't had the opportunity to try, I believe there is an escape pod to allow a player to return to the ground without everyone having to disembark.
I have managed to get through the first two levels of the Alliance missions to the stage where I had acquired a Y-Wing and was able to fully deck it out. A ship-right made the Y-Wing chassis for me, which I was able to purchase from him. This was convenient because I really didn't have enough time to get into the crafting side of the beta. I was then able to deck out the ship with all of the components either looted from space in the first Alliance missions, flying my complimentary Z95 headhunter. The complimentary ships you are provided from each faction cannot be updated and are base level with no Hyperdrive or boosters.
