Fable Reviews

The two latest reviews for Fable have given the game some of the lowest scores we've seen so far. The first is at Games Are Fun with an overall score of 4/10:
In the end, Fable is less of an RPG, and more of a semi-decent action game that is way too easy to finish. It is not fun; it's a bore-fest. Trust me, I had low expectations for Fable when I began playing it, especially because I already knew that it was short. Unfortunately, Fable doesn't live up to even low expectations. I'm just glad my friend bought it and not me. It is not worth the $5 price of a rental, let alone $50 to purchase. Molyneux already apologized for Fable... Molyneux is apologizing for hyping up features that never made it in... in reality, he should apologize that even after over three years of development, Fable can't even be a decent game, nor have a story or characters that are anywhere near interesting.

And the second is at The Jaded Gamer with an overall score of 65%:
All in all, as a mindless hack and slasher, Fable is fun while it lasts. However, know that you are only getting a polished game with some mildly amusing peripheral content; rather than the massive RPG you were led to believe it was.
