BioWare Wins Big At GDC

This year's Game Developers Conference brought many big awards for BioWare, including Game of the Year (KotOR), Best Writing, and Best Character (HK-47). In addition, BioWare BioWare won the award for community contribution. Here's a snip from GameSpy's coverage:
The big winner of the night: BioWare. Not only did its Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic take top Game of the Year honors, but also won awards for Excellence in Writing and Original Game Character of the Year for the droid HK-47. In his acceptance speech, BioWare's Greg Zeschuk passed on that "HK-47 wishes to thank all the organic meatbags that voted for him." In addition, BioWare co-founders Zeschuk and Ray Muzyka were given the IGDA Award for Community Contribution for their numerous activities within the game industry, so it was a big night for BioWare all around.
