Based on the negative reaction from the Spiritmasters on the test server and in the community at large, we've reverted the Spiritmaster Gloom Wave line back to Point-Blank Area Effect (this is the way this line is on the live servers right now). To compensate, we've added a ranged AE mez to this class (to give Midgard a ranged AOE mez option since they are currently lacking in AE mez) to the Spiritmaster's Spirit Dimming list:

21 Shroud of Gloom
31 Shroud of Shadow
40 Shroud of Pitch
50 Umbral Shroud

We understand that this will be perceived as "adding more mez" to the game; however, this balances out Midgard a bit more, and is simply giving a class that already got mesmerization another mezzing option. This, as well as all other mez spells, will be countered by the new "cure mez" spells that were given to the primary and secondary mez casters in each Realm previously in 1.52.
