Origin Melee Comments

Another edition of team comments is up at the official page for the 2nd generation of Ultima Online entitled, Ultima Worlds Online: Origin and it deals with the melee system in the upcoming MMORPG. Here's a dab about the effects of growing up as a melee'r:

As you advance in ranks with a given weapon (advancing in most melee professions requires such, or advancing in unarmed combat), you will be able to gain new skills and new abilities. Skills tend to be passive (for example, +10 to hit with all swords, or +20% damage to unarmed attacks). Abilities tend to be active - a new attack or attack series is common, although there are also some skills which might modify others, such as a skill that improves your attack for the next minute, or adds to your attacks effects like bleeding or stunning damage for a few seconds.
