Harebrained Schemes, the studio behind the Shadowrun Trilogy and the latest BattleTech, together with their publishers over at Paradox Interactive have announced The Lamplighters League, or The Lamplighters League and the Tower at the End of the World for those of you who categorically disagree with the Bard of Avon on the whole brevity being the soul of wit thing.
Set in an alternate-history world of the 1930s where a sinister global cult is on the verge of achieving global domination, The Lamplighters League adopts a pulp adventure aesthetic and can best be described as XCOM meets Indiana Jones with a sprinkling of Commandos-style real-time infiltration thrown in there for good measure.
Though it doesn't have a concrete release date, you can already pre-order the game on Steam, the Epic Games Store, Microsoft Store, and for your Xbox console.
