Cyberpunk 2077 - DLC and Multiplayer Microtransactions

CD Projekt recently held one of their regular earnings calls that featured some new information regarding their current projects. The full transcript of it can be found over here, but if you’re not too interested in reading a bunch of business-focused text, you may want to instead check out this WCCFTech article that summarizes the big points in relation to the studio’s upcoming open world RPG Cyberpunk 2077.
In short, Cyberpunk will have more DLC than The Witcher 3, and the game’s multiplayer part will feature microtransactions of some sort. Initially there was some confusion about that last part, but then the game’s official Twitter account clarified things:
Cyberpunk multiplayer/online, which is a separate project, will have some microtransactions, but we said that a year ago already. Like always, expect us treating your money with respect.
